It is an old building. Our room 301 is extremely small and the bed lies under an air conditioner that blows down on you which was not ideal. The room was very clean and the bathroom was updated. It is a great location and the staff was very friendly.

This is a great hotel in a fun DC neighborhood for people on a budget. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable, and I had a recently updated bathroom. The room could have used a full length mirror. For the price, you can't get much better!

Curefest the event we attended was one bus ride away. It was one of the only hotels that were affordable for us. Anything closer and it was just not feasible on this trip. The location of the hotel has a lot of places to eat so that's always good. I really appreciated it the fact that they had a water dispenser in the lobby. The microwave and coffee is outside in the lobby with a small seating area. The bed was comfortable enough, there were cockroaches in the bathroom maybe one or 2 per night in the shower area, other than that the staff was friendly and kept our luggage on the last day in a locked room for us until it was time for us to head out to the airport.

The hotel is surprisingly clean, we'll maintained and located in the nice area. Location is a plus, because many restaurants, coffee shops, Whole Foods, and Trades Joes are walking distance.

I was moved from one room to another. The first room had a lumpy carpet, no outside view, a half broken faucet and a half broken drawer. It's a safe spot, in a good location, and has helpful staff.
