“We knew the minute we arrived we were already going to be coming back in the future! Staff were so lovely and welcoming. Gave us all the information we needed. We had arrived early to leave the car and get the bus into Keswick. A lovely lady on reception took my number so she could ring if the room became ready earlier than the 3pm check in which was really kind! When we returned she took us to our room and let us know about breakfast etc. The room was SO clean, fresh and we got settled in...

“Stayed with my son overnight on our trip to climb Helwellyn. Did the climb prior to checking in, as check in was from 3pm. Asked in advance if we could use the car park upon our arrival in the morning & it was no problem. Once we checked in, the room was good with a modern ensuite, ironing board, hair-dryer and coffee facilities. All the staff were friendly with a nicely stocked bar and it was fine to book a table for our evening meal. The menu had a good choice of meat and vegetarian options....
