B&B en Virginia

“B&B’s are pretty much the same. This one is different. The breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and everything was well thought out. The difference? Jenny and John. Some of the friendliest and gracious people we have ever met.We felt at home as soon as we arrived. This is the kind of place you tell your friends about. We wanted to return as soon as we got home. We’ll be back!”

“Kind people and gracious place!”

“Property surrounding house is lovely. We were drawn to the pet friendly aspect and the B&B atmosphere. House itself is smaller than it looks in photo. Everything was clean but interior looks tired. Our bathroom in Magnolia Room had peeling paint and tub didn't hold water. Continental breakfast was adequate but compared to breakfasts at other B&Bs, it was unremarkable. B&B located close to downtown and within easy drive to Appomattox Courthouse National Park.”

“This inn is perfectly located if you want to drink and dine in Carytown and that would be enough BUT it is also owned and operated by some wonderful folks who work extra hard to make you comfortable, the linens are nice, the bathrobes are fluffy, there’s a wine and cheese hour as well as a fancy coffee maker, and breakfast was lovely. Put all that together and you have and even better Richmond adventure. Loved our stay!”

“The staff make you feel at home, a very relaxing environment. ”

“Our stay was most enjoyable. Accomodations were great. Coffee 24/7! Our hosts were friendly. The downtown location allowed us access to a grocery store, eateries, souvenirs, etc. We will return.”

“Beautiful 1800"s home furnished with suitable to the era furniture. There are 5 bedrooms and are unique to their special name. We stayed in the McIntosh Room. Spacious enough for two, with comfortable bed. The only downside is that the bath is a shared bathroom with 2 other rooms, though honestly, we had no problems in sharing the bathroom. We were there just as fall had arrived so to fault the property for not having the leaves etc. picked up was not fair. Breakfast was delicious(quiche,...

“Cute little room if you want to lay your head for 1 or 2 nights. Comfy bed and clean. Most Places are walkable.”

“The house is pretty. We lacked some instructions about the room's features and the town. Breakfast was ok, but I expected more. ”

“The mattress on the bed was excellent, though the pillows could be better. The interior spaces were full of a huge array of fine antiques. The exterior spaces are under construction or in need of maintenance. Breakfast was a true Southern experience and a good fit if you are planning to bike the Virginia Creeper. The bathrooms are shared among the guests with the exception of the Honeymoon Suite, which is huge. The estate is minutes from the trail and the outfitters who support bikers and...
