The Inn is filled with charm and warmth. Felt like I was in someone’s home. Our suite was on the 2nd floor, and was spacious, bright and clean. The bed was super comfortable. Well located to walk to restaurants. Jake the manager was friendly and always available to answer questions. Free parking was a great addition to an easy and enjoyable stay.

Always our favorite place to stay. They are so welcoming and very communicative. Amazing breakfast and the rooms are always clean and so lovely. Our stay at the Dinsmore was perfect. Jake the manager responded quickly to every question and the location couldn’t have been better - everything within easy access and onsite parking. The ambiance of the buildings made us feel part of the history that drew us to C’ville for a mini-vacay and the included breakfast at the attached restaurant was beyond divine. Only problem was we were always too full to eat lunch later!!

What a great boutique inn located near UVA and the downtown mall in Charlottesville, VA. It's such a historic inn. The innkeeper keeps an open line of communication with you and the housekeeper does a great job keeping the inn clean and provides you with plenty of amenities. They also provide you with a delicious breakfast each morning at the restaurant attached to the inn. Great location for touring Monticello, wineries, breweries, and distilleries.
