“Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. “An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”

“A warm welcome from Jenny. Excellent breakfasts. A characterful property of considerable age with slightly quirky elements: who would expect statues of a Buddha and komodo dragon in a former abbey? Our en suite room room was spacious and clean. The large bed looked a little antique, but was very comfortable. Many would join us in liking like that mix of character and comfort.”

Bus stop right down the road in Crumplehorn. Full breakfast included in the rate. Spotless, comfy rooms with daily housekeeping.
