“We are regular visitors to the Grand, and after a dip around a year ago, are pleased to say the breakfasts are back as good as ever.
Our room had been recently decorated and with the exception of loose shelf in the bathroom was in a great condition.”

“We had a weekend away and enjoyed our room with a sea view. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice. Parking was difficult one night as they had a private function on who took all of the spaces. Staff were always helpful and we would stay again.”

“The hotel is only about a year old so the building and all the fittings and furniture are in as-new condition. The staff were all cheerful and a delight to work with. The food was good both breakfast and the evening meals.
The location right on the foreshore is attractive with lovely views of the sunrise but it is well away from the centre of Torquay. When I arrived Google maps had the location 300 metres too close to the main part of Torquay so you need to check this before setting a route.”

“Lovely clean room and bathroom. Very good breakfast, well cooked and presented and plenty of choice. Staff very helpful.
My only concern would be the steps up to the property they are not easy if you have any kind of mobility problem.”

“It was a low priced hotel, but the hotel needed some cleaning, very poor quality and in need of a overhaul”
