“The manor us a bit dated but the front desk staff were lovely which made up for the decor. Reasonable price and hearty food. Walking distance to beach.”

“I didn't like having a room which faced out onto the courtyard where pub guests were drinking and eating. It meant that to get privacy you had to draw the curtains which then covered not only the door but also the only windows and I like to have open windows, especially when there is no air conditioner. Having said that, the room itself was quite comfortable and the food was good.”

“This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath. Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill. One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy...

“Accommodation was generally as described although we understand that the swimming pool is only available to guests at extra cost payable to the Park Dean Resort - this was not clear to us from the listing which advertises swimming pool in the headline. In the end, we did not use the swimming pool and went to the beach instead. Guests need to be aware that no bedding sheets or towels are provided so you need to remember to take your own (the host said that you can also hire these from the resort...
