Vacations Close To Times Square

The room was very clean and was serviced daily. Convenient location.

We were expecting a much better room. The room seems outdated, the bedding was really uncomfortable and not cozy. Pillows were uncomfortable and we have to ask for more pillows. The sofa bed where my son slept, was dirty and we had to ask for additional clean sheets and blankets. The hallways looked like a hospital and just felt not cozy at all. The staff is amazing and very friendly.

Excellent property in a perfect location- right across the street from Central Park and on the same block as a subway line which means super easy access to everywhere you’d want to go in the city. The staff of the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The amenities are wonderful including a state-of-the-art fitness facility. The on-site restaurant is also wonderful.

I had a very disappointing experience with the hotel’s breakfast service on the morning of my departure. I had ordered breakfast the night before for delivery at 8:00 a.m., but the order arrived without my omelet and with a bill for items I had not ordered: salmon, bacon, and avocado toast. I complained, but my omelet did not arrive until 10:00 a.m., just as I was leaving the hotel, so I never got to eat it. I was also told that five of the nine employees handling this service had been let go. If accurate, this may help explain the service issues, but guests should not have to bear the consequences of staffing cuts. Receiving the correct breakfast at the agreed time is a basic expectation, and the way this was handled was unacceptable.

Clean, spare rooms. Comfortable beds. Breakfast coupons at bakery are great. Drinks in the bar crazy expensive. Great location with lots of restaurants and shopping, Lincoln center walkable.

Absolutely loved the location and welcoming staff! Our tiny room with 2 twin beds reminded me of a charming Paris hotel, except smaller. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom was very nice. No mini frig in case you want to chill anything or save your leftovers. Waking up well after sunrise to a very dark room was a bit disorienting, our window faced a brick wall, that’s NYC if you want to enjoy an historic location and easily walk to so many fantastic places & restaurants. We did have a last minute snafu -after recommendations to use their car service to the airport instead of…, made a reservation for the next day. There apparently was some confusion about the reservation with the next day’s changed staff, and we ended up leaving 25 minutes later than planned. (Stressful drive to JFK) Despite that, it was a great visit & I hope to stay again - and maybe I will be able to upgrade to a view!
