“I stayed in the dog friendly room which was ok but not great. The carpets were stained and when we first walked in the room we could smell dog it wasn't a fresh smell. There was a half used toilet roll in our bathroom and no fan so it steamed up quite quickly. The room was at the bottom of the beer garden so was very noisy which wasn't that much of a problem. “If you value the suspension in your car then avoid the long potholed drive up to this property! On arrival it transpired the lift was not working and no-one appeared the whole weekend to investigate or repair. No idea how long it had been broken. No apology was given when we arrived. We were simply directed to the staircase to get to our room on the 2nd floor!. No idea when the skirting boards in the room was last cleaned. The shower in the room was scalding hot one minute and freezing cold...
