Vacations Close To The Jewish Center of the Hamptons

The location of Hotel St. James is excellent. Although there was not a coffee machine in the room, Cook Eatery next-door has coffee, drinks, and to-go food available. We did take advantage of the water machine and microwave in the lobby. The staff has always been friendly, and the location is clean. Our room did not have a microwave or refrigerator, which is fine with us. The water pressure on the 12th floor was spotty at times. We would recommend and go back for a stay.

Awful

Location is great! Modern amenities, very clean, staff are friendly and professional.

Excellent property in a perfect location- right across the street from Central Park and on the same block as a subway line which means super easy access to everywhere you’d want to go in the city. The staff of the hotel are super friendly and helpful. The amenities are wonderful including a state-of-the-art fitness facility. The on-site restaurant is also wonderful.

Very nice property with a wonderful, friendly staff. Great location. There is a lively evening scene —but the rooms are very quiet at all times.

I chose this hotel for the room size to work, and proximity to the park for running. At a $1k a night I do have some expectations; wash cloths always be there , laundry bags for wet sweaty clothes, a frig that works and outlets to easily plug in devices . All were not easily available unless asked. After one night I realized the locking mechanisms (2) on the door so not work. I asked the cleaning people if they knew. “Yes, we know about it , for months.”

We loved this hotel. The room was a bit cramped, but since we barely in it, it wasn’t an issue. The shower didn’t drain well, and the water pressure was REALLY strong. When I showered, there was a bit of a pool in the shower. Other than that, we didn’t have any problems. The staff were extremely helpful and kind with whatever we needed. The hotel was conveniently located near MSG and Macy’s. Would stay here again!
