Vacations Close To Mulford Farm

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Riu in NYC. The room was very clean however a bit too small for 4 people. Upon check-in we received 2 bottles of complementary water in the room, when requested for 2 additional, 1 per person, the gentleman’s response was go to the restaurant to purchase additional water or use the faucet in the bathroom. Another major concern is the elevator system during breakfast hours. Apparently the process to access the restaurant is via the elevators therefore causing an extreme long delays. We had to eventually walk down 12 stories after waiting 15mins for an elevator. Other than that, location is great and I may consider staying here on another trip to NYC.

The hotel was great! We are a family of 5 and in NYC most places wanted us to book 2 rooms. I found RIU and the price was awesome. When we arrived the staff was professional and all of them were genuinely thankful we chose to stay there. The hotel was very clean. There was a woman cleaning the lobby every time we stepped foot in it. The hotel looked super fancy as my tween girls said! Our room was great and we would stay here again! Thank you RIU staff and Expedia.

Great location and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean.

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and it’s always above average and sometimes you can get really good deals there. The location is really tough to beat and close to everything in the Thymes Square area. This time around there were lots of problems with the elevators and there were times where I was waiting 10 to 15 minutes for an elevator to come or an elevator to come wasn’t full and when I got on the elevator, it was jampacked every time. One time we had an employee on his walkie-talkie telling somebody to just send our elevator through because it was stopping at every floor. Every morning I was there for three days. These problems existed with the elevators.
