A unique hotel, and very friendly reception staff. I was in the Orient Express room which is a small single - you may wish to let reception know if you are particularly tall as the bed is deliberately like a train sleeper.
The reception is clean and welcoming but if you're sensitive to scents, be aware that it is quite heavily fragranced.
I didn't use any of the amenities but it does look like a very interesting and unusual place to explore. Would recommend.

Quite a nice hotel but there were some negatives.
The shower head was cracked so water went sideways as well as down.
The TV hadn't been retuned in years so there were channels listed that are long since departed (Horror etc). BBC1 HD had no sound (typical of a TV that need retuning). The bedside lamp has a mind of its own so it turned off when it pleased.
The room was a decent size and the bed big and comfortable.

We had a great stay at Aethos Shoreditch. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out, and the whole experience was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well designed, and the location was perfect for exploring London. Everything went exactly as expected with no issues at all. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
