“To be honest I received the best welcome, it is actually even cleaner than on photos, they gave me a good reception with everything needed in the room : Tooth brush , flip flop for the shower, extra water , tea cup , towel, it was really clean and was smelling super good and also the boss of the hotel is speaking a good english and is really helpfull with his customer. Fun fact he gives you a pins to put on his map to see where all his customers from, it was really awesome. Thank you...

“Merlin guesthouse was great, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, they checked each day if we wanted our room cleaned. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was a wet room, but kept very clean. Location was good, short walk to many bars/restaurants and the hop on hop off tourist bus had a stop just round the corner. ”

“Excellent hotel in Butterworth. Brand new. Very close to the Ferry and train station. Has an excellent breakfast buffet. Great facilities, with a nice pool and gym. Will definitely be back the next time I visit Penang.”

“❶ オーナー側の部屋番号の配置&連絡ミスによるトラブルに巻き込まれ、夜中寝ているところを起こされ、とても怖い思いをしました。 夜中にベルを鳴らされ、オーナーによりドアを開けられたのですが、事前に連絡や説明をすべき！いきなり鍵を開けるのは違法&犯罪では？ ❷ またトイレットペーパーの補充が一つも置いてなくて困りました。(アプリのサイトを使って連絡しました) 最終日に部屋を出た後以外には、掃除してもらえない仕組みのようです。 だから、途中でタオル交換やトイレットペーパーの追加なども、何らかの方法で伝えないと、してもらえません。”
