“The property manager was so kind and really accommodated our requests to remove all fragrances and fragranced linens to support our son’s asthma triggers. We had such a great time as the location was 1 minute from everything! The place was modern, comfortable and spacious. The only downside was the baby seagull who liked to greet us early in the morning on the roof velux windows first thing in the morning. Something to expect by the seaside. “Very poor 'welcome' from the receptionist. She seemed miserable and dis-interested. She also could not find our pre-booked details initially and then when she did, tried to charge us an additional £75 even though we had paid in full. On the plus side, the room was very good. Very clean, comfortable bed and a good shower. Only two teabags on the tray, which was either an oversight or just a bit mean.”

“Staff very helpful and so friendly. Room was basic but clean. Lovely hotel with a warm , comfortable atmosphere. Lovely to see children and adults alike enjoying their time together. Will definitely return with our grandchildren next time !”

“Great location for the South Coast Path. Bus stop to Torquay and Shaldon 3 minutes walk away. Very helpful staff. Room basic but clean with tea and coffee. Main village and cliff top with pubs a five minute walk. Easy to park in side streets even in August.”
