“The facilities were great . Our room was the Hayloft and was fantastic . I would say more like a studio flat with our own kitchen dining and lounge areas . It was very relaxing such a lovely place overall. We chose to have breakfast in the cafe each morning and it was excellent. The staff were very helpful when it came to local eating out for evening meals and things to see and do . I definitely agree with others I would give it a 10 out of 10 and will be back”

“We stayed at the Kames while exploring the area which is so beautiful. The hotel is ideally situated in an idyllic setting. The food was superb, especially the homemade steak pie! The Scottish Breakfast is the best we've tasted. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“Expedia does not tell you they don’t answer phone calls from foreign numbers & they have no front desk/ staff on site so only way to communicate is thru Expedia. I couldn’t get continental breakfast because Expedia blocks emails & they couldn’t send me payment link. No food or beverage available on site or within walking distance. Food delivery was lame, cash only & no utensils. Decent shower, bed & wifi”

“A fabulous hotel that goes the extra mile to make guests feel valued and comfortable. Extremely doggy friendly, with separate zones for guests unaccompanied by their 4 legged companions. Direct access to the beach, Ayshire Coastland Path further enhance the experience. I would definitely highly recommend The Waterside Hotel. Thank you”

“Everything was lovely! Room, staff, and breakfast. We arrived late due to a flat tire (watch out for those Scotland back roads 😉) and the staff was superb in welcoming us tired American travelers. Just a few notes if you're a first time world traveler from the US, they didn't offer wash cloths and there were no "flat sheets", only fitted with the duvet. My fault not theirs for realized this is standard in Europe. Hope this helps someone!”
