“From check in to check out the staff were so helpful. Can fault anything.”

“For us, just a one-night stay, but we arrived about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, to find this is an extremely popular venue for Sunday lunches. The menu continued into the evening and we were able to see why it's so popular. A great meal, and then a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning. The room, facilities and bed were all comfortable and all in all, we had made a good choice in a quiet rural location.”

“De accommodatie is rustig maar toch vlakbij het centrale gedeelte van Knighton. De kamer is van alles voorzien dat je mogelijks nodig hebt en het ontbijt is zelfbediening in de keuken van de host. De host is heel vriendelijk”

“Clean quiet convenient to get to work and the town”

Evening meals and Sunday carvery were tasty and specials were explained. A thing to note is that there is no lift so mobility needs to be good to walk up stairs which was not a problem for us. Enjoyed our stay here and will be back next year as still much more to explore in the ares”

The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open.
