“Very good food. friendly staff. Room was not very good, also no air con. it was OK for a short stay but house keeping was not everyday. Pub and restaurant were very good. breakfast was great. just let down by the room. We might have had the worst room in the pub. windows were frosted because opening the windows we found we were above the kitchen so noisy extraction as well. If I stay here again I would avoid room 1. but everything else was very good.”

“Nice pub accommodation close to the sea. The rooms are above the pub, so expect noise until after closing time. It's a large pub for tourists, so it can get busy, yet despite the young front of house team, this place runs like clockwork - I was very impressed with how well organised they were. “Arrived at the property and it has closed for business leaving us stranded at the height of summer when everything is booked up. We are hours from home on a road trip.Taken our money months ago and no word from the owners, still listed online and still taking bookings. Landlord at a local pub told us tbey had gone bust. Shocking behaviour!! Beware of booking here, need to take it from your website! Doing a chargeback with credit card.”

“Peeling wallpaper by window, panel by bathroom door coming away, loose loo seat, poorly maintained bathroom with window not shutting fully. Shower splutters and temperature varies. Pub food poor and not made as described. Would not go back.”
