“Room was clean upon arrival. Bathroom had a urine smell that was unpleasant, although the motel was recently renovated. The room was loud due to traffic and the A/C unit was blasting when on. This was the most uncomfortable thing. I slept with headphones and my children used earbuds. Overall we had a ok stay.”

“The location of this home is very misleading. Although if you search the exact location, you will find it’s in/near the forest but looking at the pics posted you would think it was near the beach and it is not. I could overlook that if the home was stocked with everything needed and beds were comfortable but that was not the case. We were given 5 bath towels for 4 people for 4days, 1 dish cloth, 1 hand towel and 1 dirty sponge with no washer or dryer and no dishwasher. Extra towels were dropped...

“This is a lovely hotel! The house is simply beautiful and the personnel is very friendly. They went the extra mile as I forgot something and they mailed it back to my home, which I infinitely appreciated. Would definitely stay there again! ”

“It is a very confortable hotel with very nice and spacious room with view tothe harbour. It is very convenient for families sice there are swimmingpool and two playgrounds. The only disappointment was the breakfast: nothing was fresh made but everything in packages. By the way, we spent two pleasant days in the hotel.”

“The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”

“A charming old school motel on a hillside with peeks of Penobscot Bay, this place exudes mid-20th-century Americana charm on a woodsy stretch of Route One just north of Camden. The proprietor was friendly and welcoming, and the location is convenient to Camden, Rockport, Lincolnville, Northport, and Belfast.”
