“Comfortable stay..easy to reach.. excellent experience”

“A disappointing experience! A very low level motel, yet room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The first night was fine. The second night was uncomfortable as it sounded like people were moving furniture upon arriving at 10 pm. Then at 4:30 am more noise, and they left. At 6:00 am they were back and more noise. It is obvious that the motel is a also a “type of rooming house” Buyer beware! ”

“The check in wasn't smooth. The owner didn't respond quickly. I had to wait and call her for more than 25 minutes to get a response.”

“Room smelled very musty and damp. Carpet looks like it should have been changed 10 years ago. When we checked into the room my daughter had to use the bathroom and discovered it full of urine that wasn't flushed from the cleaner or previous occupant. Overall the place looks very run down. Big paint chip on door to room. Caulking around sink is a mess. Bathroom door is coming off hinges. $300 for a ghetto room but it was too late to book anything else. The Holiday Inn is million times better....

“Hotel was old house that had been converted to an Inn. Amenities only included two bath towels and one hand towel. No extra toilet paper. No wash clothes. Rooms had not been updated/painted in maybe 30-35 years. Steps were very steep and shallow. The only thing that kept the rating from being lower was the staff. They were pleasant when asked for something.”

“Clean and welcoming staff. Rooms were clean and recently updated. Only issue was some regulars that stay long term make being outside a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise great location to the beach and local restaurants are a walk away.”

“Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. The only disappointment was that the smoke alarm went off around 8:00 a.m., waking everyone up. We weren’t sure why it happened, as there didn’t seem to be any emergency or activity at the time. Since we had checked in around 8:00 p.m. after a long four-hour drive, we were hoping to get some extra rest. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.”
