The owners and staff were excellent. This was a perfect low cost room that met our needs. The hotel is older but the rooms were well kept and met our expectations.

The owner was friendly and helpful. Great customer service. Hotel was in a safe area. Room was very spacious and clean. When leaving the hotel, I actually saw the staff washing the floors in the rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here to visit Cedar Point. We drove up with two cars but only wanted to enter the park with one. The staff let us park our car in their lot before our check in time which was very accommodating. The property is very clean with no strong odors. It's a older building that needs updating, but nothing that effected our stay. We plan to stay again in the future.

A very good place to stay on a budget if planning to visit Cedar Point, as it’s located not far from the park. About a 10 minute drive. So very convenient. Staff was very friendly. Definitely would stay there again if I go back.

Look, this isn't the Hilton or whatever but in all honesty this hotel for the price is not bad. The bed is comfortable, the AC is cold, the shower a little complicated but it's a place to get clean and sleep for cedar point. Kinda noisy in the morning though but all good. Staff was very polite! No bugs (we checked), parking right near the door we went in so not far to walk thankfully, and my kids froze me with the AC lol. Only thing is I wish they had something for breakfast - even just fruit available. I will definitely be staying again.

Convenient location to Cedar Point, plenty of parking. The disparity from some nice things like marble counters to old carpet. Almost fell off the toilet due to the toilet seat missing a bolt. Overall was the most expensive stay while in Ohio and was the least nice stay.

We stumbled upon Sandusky headed to Maryland from Colorado. The town is so wonderful. We were able to score a last min room for 67 bucks. The owner was the main receptionist and we had a very lovely conversation with him. Super friendly and attentive, he definitely knows customer service . We will be back

Overall a very good budget pick for the Sandusky area. Staff were very nice and I enjoyed staying here. Not the cleanest, but that's what you get for the price. I would rather stay at this local business than a corporate chain anyway. I will be staying here again!

Microwave didn't work, toilet seat was loose and coming off. Bathroom faucet was all warm water. No cold water came out. Sink cabinet was built with 2x4 and plywood. Counter top on sink was ok. Shower and shower head were very old but worked ok. The new owner said he had only purchased it 8 months ago. Sign said Sportsman tavern but didn't have liquor license to open it. Price was ok and location was good to a lot of amenities and places to eat. Still needs a lot of work.
