“I chose The Royal as there was a positive review about being good for solo travellers. This was my experience too. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful . It was easy to find and has easy access to the sea front. The hotel's location meant that I felt safe to walk alone in the evening , as I wanted to try local restaurants. “We had an excellent overnight stay, the staff were helpful and efficient, room clean and in good condition, the hotel public spaces were well furnished and also in good condition. Breakfast was very good, enough choice, my wife having a vegan breakfast was no problem at all, food was fresh and well cooked. Overall a great experience and we will be happy to use Holiday Inn Express again.”
