“The hotel is in need of a complete refurbishment as it is dated, very tired looking and in parts very tatty. Having said that the room I was allocated was large and spotless. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom amenities were acceptable. The breakfast at this hotel was very good. The car park is small and I was lucky to get a parking space during my stay. “Quirky stay in Tunbridge Wells. The theme is fun and throughout the restaurant and hotel- decorations, staff uniforms, music and menu options. Lots of parking right outside. Food was lovely. The breakfast had unlimited coffee and juices and lots of options. The only downside was we went in the heatwave and the only thing available was a small desk fan so the heat was unbearable in the room so we slept really badly, could do with additional larger fans in the rooms”

The food was always great particularly the breakfast and came out wonderfully hot and on hot place which is so often an issue in other hotels. “Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb.”
