“Great idea of the hamper with goodies for breakfast. The generosity of these goodies kept us going for hours! Excellent and caring staff who were so friendly and kind.”

“Good base which welcomes visitors with dogs (pre booked in their garden rooms) and a 2 min walk to the local train station. Easy (and cheap) train ride to Cromer if you don’t fancy the beach walk - which I do recommend you do - then train back!”

“The property was not that clean. Cobwebs on most curtains and in other areas. Its sleeps 5 people but only enough crockery for 4 and half of the plates had cracks. ( i do have photos). Over all a disappointment.”

“Acceptable accommodation for a short break and good location from which to explore North Norfolk. Banged my head on low hanging ceiling lights a dozen times in two days, fortunately no damage done. There is definitely room for improvement but wouldn’t want to complain too much as I think hosts are trying to make the best of a less than perfect situation.”

“Very comfortable hotel. We stayed in the stable block with beautiful views of a lovely tree and the sea beyond. Ideally located for coastal walks. Breakfast and dinner were excellent although very expensive.”

“What stood out immediately was the cheerful and helpful staff. Well done to all - from the guy who checked us in to the one who made breakfast for us. Very comfortable room with good facilities We only stayed for one Sunday night so managed to get a parking space but I doubt that would happen again during the week or in high season. Double yellow lines everywhere so would need to go to a parking lot. Not sure how much that was.”
