“The inn appears to be the centre of the community, can get busy in the evening, but it is good to see it thrive. Room clean and spacious. Food great, staff friendly and helpful. There appears to be a little work in progress at the moment. There is limited parking at the property but lots of free space at the memorial hall a five minute walk away. Shops can be found nearby at Yelverton or there is the market town of Tavistock. Beautiful dartmoor is also close by.”

“Lovely and relaxing Great place for us only 6/7min. From our daughter as we came to visit We would of loved if was air-conditioning in rooms, but as we had fans in your room was very helpful in the hottest day/nights. When fans are quiet, we did have one loud fan on one occasion we stayed But overall great place brilliant breakfast & food , staff very perlite,welcoming and helpful ,views fabulous we would definitely stay again Thank you horn of plenty Mr & Mrs Matthews”

“Food was great, staff very helpful, bar and dining room very tidy and clean, good range of drinks, both alcoholic and soft although I am out of touch with prices so had a bit of a shock. This is not a negative, just reality. Plenty of parking and convenient at the rear to avoid stairs. Some areas are in need of decorating such as stairwell and corridors however not terrible. Outside areas need tidying around the back of the building but the beer garden/smoking area was good. Wheel chair...

“Lovely old building with nice staff and excellent food. Parking can be a problem and the tv system is on satellite and hardly ever works. But definitely a lovely hotel and we would return.”
