Accommodation was good but the bedside lamps didn’t work and toilet roll holder needs replacing.The food was excellent and restaurant is very well presented but the inner door from the conservatory closed with a loud bang that we could hear clearly from our room.”

“The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. “Unfortunately, we can't agree with many of the other reviews. We only met 2 staff member and both were not very welcoming. The property, although being old, is very run down particularly very messy on the outside. The room we had was just ok, nothing special although it was big and the beds were reasonably comfortable, but the shower was absolutely useless, just a trickle of water, and the two lights out of the three in the bathroom that didn't work were not fixed even though we...

“The staff without exception were excellent. They were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The cooked breakfast was good on both mornings. The internal appearance of the restaurant, breakfast room and lounge was very pleasing. Our room was small but adequate for a short stay. Bed linen and towels were immaculate. Negatives.
