“The place was nice enough, but I’ve been to a hundred places over the years using Expedia, and not once did the owner insist on a 10 a.m. checkout AND send reminders via text message that if we weren’t out by 10 we’d be charged another day. I guess they have their reasons, but after forking over $600 for 2 rooms, 2 nights, checking out at the normal, 11 a.m. time - or earlier - should be up to me, not them.”

“The Manhattan is just fun! It's right in the middle of everything in Salida so you can walk wherever you want. You can sit on your balcony and watch folks run the river or wander across the street to listen to music. Good communication from the mgmt about checking in. Restaurants close. HIghly recommend.”

“The advertising photo of the nice cabin is not the cabin we got and booking was misleading. No AC, no water, no bathroom, just the cabin and two outlets. The advertising is misleading as there was no coffee. The coffee house pictured is not open. The people were very nice, it was quiet and it looks like they are really trying to do some nice improvements. The shared shower house and bathrooms are very nice, just a long walk in the middle of the night. It was very nice for having our dog along...
