We chose this property because of its location right on the river & close proximity to downtown. We weren’t sure what to expect with it being above a bar/restaurant, but we did not hear any excessive noise at night. Beds were comfortable, good communication with host, & parking close enough. Very cute town, would stay here again if ever in the area!

The Manhattan Hotel in Salida is a great place to stay. The rooms overlooking the Arkansas river provide tons of entertainment. The location can't be beat right down on F Street near the park and shops.

Wow! The location of this hotel really can't be beat and the fact that it's right on the river is really special. We enjoyed walking straight out the door to shops and restaurants and to the park and the Farmer's Market - it was also really convenient to be able to walk to Natural Grocers. The room was pretty simple but all we needed. Lots of towels, comfortable beds and nice bathroom. My one complaint was that the throw blanket smelled like feet - make sure you are washing all blankets please! Other than that we were very very pleased with our stay and highly recommend this hotel for a cozy fall girls weekend in Salida.

All was good. Room nicely appointed and clean and next to river. View was lovely. If there is one minus it was a little noisy (in our room) at night with the HVAC system. And, on one day a delivery truck was parked on street below (and running because it was a food delivery) from very early in morning until we got out of bed. This room had the best view, but noisy. Other than that, we had a lovely experience in Salida.

A beautiful view of the Arkansas River and a mountain range from the balcony. So peaceful watching the sun rise. The convenience of a great park across the street and the ability to walk to local restaurants and unique shops in town was a big plus. We feel we made the absolute best choice of hotels for our stay in Salida for our gandson's wedding!

Beautiful historic hotel in a perfect location. Plenty of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable. There is no front desk, so it’s more of an air’b’n’b experience.
