The Manhattan Hotel in Salida is a great place to stay. The rooms overlooking the Arkansas river provide tons of entertainment. The location can't be beat right down on F Street near the park and shops.

A beautiful view of the Arkansas River and a mountain range from the balcony. So peaceful watching the sun rise. The convenience of a great park across the street and the ability to walk to local restaurants and unique shops in town was a big plus. We feel we made the absolute best choice of hotels for our stay in Salida for our gandson's wedding!

Helpful, kind, responsive staff. Excellent location in Salida. Our room smelled strongly of marijuana when we arrived. Importnat to know that this is not a hotel, that you'll take a staircase up to your room and pass a food prep area for a restaurant, bathrooms in the first floor entryway are used by others and not ventilated well, stairs and hallway are pretty grungy. Room was fine, but overpriced for what it was.

The bed and bedding was of high quality and felt really good on a very stormy evening! The large stain glassed window is absolutely stunning; however, my suggestion is to place an automatic roller shade, for the bright sunshine peaking in, very early in the morning! Otherwise, perfect location and staff was very receptive and friendly!

Beautiful historic hotel in a perfect location. Plenty of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable. There is no front desk, so it’s more of an air’b’n’b experience.

What a great location for exploring Salida, right on the river, just off F street. An unusual location on the second story of an historic building (only for those able and willing to climb the stairs to the units.) The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, the balcony looking over the river is a great place to enjoy the views. Good AC, and quiet. We feel so lucky we found this mini hotel which is run like an Airbnb. Easy to contact the manager who is very helpful.
