“Location of property worked well for purpose. Staff were good. Rooms very warm, unlike the shower, stayed 3 nights, only on one occasion was the water hot, guessing the staff knew of this, when we mentioned at check out. Greene King pub next door, ok for a pint and pub food. Would recommend "Ye Olde Hob Inn" for a drink, great atmosphere and even better hosts.”

“Very good, clean and tidy accommodation. No air con, but openable windows or balcony doors. Big bed with Medium density mattress, no fridge in room. Overall very happy with room. Parking on premises if you pay daily, but free parking over the road after 6pm and free 2 hrs between 8 and 6pm. Never seen a parking attendant or warden in 4 days there. “We haven’t got children of school age anymore but by the look on the kids faces the staff must be doing something right. Very child oriented. The menu in the restaurant was new but some of the meals normally on a hotel menu were not covered so not the variety of meals to choose from that I’m used to. The meals we had were well prepared and tasted good so perhaps cooking to their strengths. Breakfast was good and covered everybody’s requirements. Small criticism it would have been nice to...
