“We have stayed at the Majestic earlier this year and loved the hotel that’s why we returned. It’s a lovely impressive old building and close to the town. However, there were a couple of things that we were disappointed with this time, check in was exceedingly slow ……… couldn’t find our bookings etc., and the hot tub at the spa was closed again as it was last time. Though this time it was open when we went into the spa but when we went to go in half an hour later about 9.45am it was closed....
“Escogí a este hotel por el diseño y la cercanía a York. Se tarde 30 minutos en tren desde Harrogate (1 hora en coche !). El hotel es una joya, elegante, muy limpio, con baños muy modernos y unos desayunos espectaculares. Esta muy cuidado y se muestra el buen gusto de los dueños. En cuanto a Harrogate, es menos conocido pero merece la pena la visita, especialmente por los parques, tiendas, los baños turcos y Betty's Tearoom, donde se puede disfrutar del mejor afternoon tea!”

A busy , successful country pub, restaurant, party venue does create a few problems of wear. Which will need addressing fairly soon.

“The room was immaculate and the staff very attentive. The breakfast was amazing, with so much choice, and the bar was a lovely, relaxing area with very helpful bar staff. Our afternoon tea for two was delicious and very refined.
We also loved the Agatha Christie connection to the hotel and it was lovely to see other guests dressed up in Agatha Christie era outfits.
