“Simon, the landlord, was personable and very helpful. We had both dinner and breakfast which were very nice. Our room was fine and the bathroom facilities adequate. The property generally could do with a bit of tlc but, that said, we had a nice stay.”

“We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short visit. It's a simple, no-frills place with basic amenities, but it delivered exactly what we expected. Don't judge a book by its cover. The room is renovated and unique. Breakfast was not included but you can purchase it, the day before. We asked for an English breakfast, paid in advance and was served in the morning at the scheduled time. “Thankful for the fan in a heatwave. Helpful staff and a decent breakfast. Bedroom carpet badly stained. Shower had a lot of mould in it . Loo flush was not attached to the wall.”

“We stayed in the annexe which was brilliant as it was a Saturday night and there was a do on in the main place. Couldn't hear anything from the annexe and had a wonderful sleep. Place was really clean, everything you could want, tea and coffee and biscuits, hairdryer, nothing bad to say about it.”
