“This hotel is a classic example of faded glory. A pleasant location which was near the Nyetimber Vineyard, which was the reason for the stay. I did send them a message asking advice on local taxi firms when I made the original booking, which was never responded to at all. The check in was interesting as the young lady stood up to recite her script of things we should and shouldn’t do in the hotel. This included the offer of cooked breakfast (continental is included). Amusingly, if you contact...

“Everything is absolutely perfect beautiful place and fantastic staff”

“Shower had a draining issue and in room fan was pretty noisy (hence we couldn't use it). Nonetheless, overall it was a decent stay.”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay at The Crown again without hesitation, however as I am disabled there are not enough parking spaces available for disabled guests staying at the hotel. The bays at the front of the hotel (3) were, at most times occupied by non blue badge holders.”

“My son loved that there was Disney plus as a bonus. However our shower didn't work and I had to ask to use the one next door. 3x a member of staff came to try it, the last time we were in bed and no it still wasn't working. Breakfast was OK but no offer of fruit, cereal or juice. Had to ask for a...

“A great place to stay, especially when the sun is shining! Very comfortable room and a lovely breakfast.”

“L@s camarer@s estupend@s. Un desayuno muy completo con servicio amable y eficiente. El hotel y los habitaciones muy acogedores con carácter muy inglés. El único problema fue el proveedor de WiFi que bloqueó mi email pero eso no es culpa del hotel.”

“My partner and I stayed at The Tiger Inn during our trek from Seaford, and it was the highlight of our trip. The inn is gorgeous. Our room was cozy and exceptionally clean. The food and breakfast the next morning were outstanding and the staff very warm and welcoming.”

“Charming Inn in a beautiful little village in Sussex.”

“Attractive small hotel in a quiet location and very close to the beach. Rooms are small but well appointed with all that one needs. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Car park is tight so not for nervous drivers! Breakfast is freshly cooked but limited choice - more fruit would be nice! The dining area (outdoors in nice weather) gets very busy and lively - a good sign but can be a little noisy - but not late in the evening. Recommended.”
