“We had no wifi in the room, Had to sit in lobby to do anything on the phone.
The drain in the bathroom was clogged.
They were not able to resolve either issue in the 5 nights we stayed there.
The kitchenette had no stove or hot plate. Also, they charge you if you don't wash and put away all the dishes.
Room service came to make our bed only 1 day despite us putting a notice on the door to make our room.
Also, we booked a snorkeling tour and were not told that there was a $140 booking fee...

“Do not stay at this Hotel. I had to fly urgently for family matters, from Barcelona, so a long haul flight in an aerial sardine can, the reviews for the View were good and the location was convenient. I got room 205 which was pleasantly located on top of the highway, just metres from roaring trucks and ambulances. There was no double or triple glazing so it felt like I was sleeping by traffic lights (the fact was sleep was impossible). The room should have been used as a storeroom, but yet, $180...

“The room was clean but very dated. The sink tap did not have any hot water. This was reported to the cleaner. There was rust in the bathroom. Only a shower curtain. Fridge was on top of the bench and could easily fall. The sheets were white but had a stain on them. The door was very hard to lock. We were close to where we needed to attend an event. Close to the accommodation was Jeans Thai which was thoroughly delicious”

“It is conveniently located, with places nearby to grab dinner even if you arrive quite late.
I was also able to check in quickly and easily, even without a receptionist present.
The receptionist was very friendly the next day.
If possible, bring your own supplies, as water and other items aren't available inside the hotel after 8:00 PM; however, there is a gas station and a convenience store just a few meters away where you can pick things up.”

“Not in the prettiest area of Brisbane, but so close to its airport it is an excellent option when taking an early flight, so it was the second time I booked it for this reason + the parking + the modern decoration + the same nice and helpful girl at the reception! In addition to the Kingsford's there are also a couple of good breakfast restaurants a block away, which I couldn't go to this time. The nearby gas station to fill the tank of a rental car is also a welcome addition...”
