It was nice to be able to just pick up the key and go to the room without having to check in at a reception. Likewise for checking out. Spacious room with everything we needed, although it would have been good to have a few more sachets of coffee, sugar etc

Had everything you needed for a short stay.My room had a balcony which was very nice. Great to sit out there in the morning with a cuppa and the evening with a wine. Close to Doomben train station and both racetracks if you’re visiting for the horse racing. Easy walking distance to both

The room with a view was lovely ,only problem we had was using the luggage lift, couldn't get it to open had to climb 2 flights of stairs with heavy luggage not good for 70 year olds. Couldn't get it to work the next morning for check out either. Other than that was a great little room.

Room was nice and spacious, two beds for a better night sleep with a hubby that is restless, had tea/coffee, fridge, kettle etc, shower was nice and big. Our room was on the ground floor which was perfect as my knees don't like stairs Both beds were comfy and had different thickness pillows which was great, I like mine thin. Gallopers Bowling club is so close (across the railway and on the other side of the main drag) which has great food and a bar. Walking distance to Woolies and cafe one way and lots of cafes, restaurants and ferry dock the other way, just a bit further a field. (Ferries are relaxing and cheap as, and nice way to get into the city or anywhere along the banks for cafes and shopping) It's situated nice and close to the airport, approx 11 mins away and made our short stay easy. One thing the room didn't have that they can probably remedy easy is anywhere to hang clothes properly.

It is a very nice budget hotel conveniently located if your flight is in early morning. Good location close to train and bus. The room was sparkly clean as well as the bathroom. The breakfast delicious. The staff was very helpful and very friendly.
