Our bed was worn out and I wouldn’t have been able to stay a fourth night. I hurt so bad after sleeping on that bed. We were there 3 nights and the four daytime days there was never any activity on the front porch as far as construction but it was blocked off for repairs. The whole town was a disappointment as far as being kept up. And...

“Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont.”

“In general the stay was wonderful and breakfast was delicious. The only thing was that Expedia needs to specify at the beginning that room #4, #5 and #6 share bathroom. This information should come more clear before anyone books. We had to pay a bit more in order to have another room with a private bathroom. ”

“Nice quaint little motel and restaurant. Like a lot of things on the area the building is very old. Room and bathroom were small but worked perfect! Restaurant and bar on site was a bonus as food and drink were very good! I would definitely stay there again!”

The inn-keeper Dana was so kind and gave ideas for activities in the area and helped me get to my wedding when we had no ideas on how to get there. The whole experience was so personable, and I loved the shared space with a chess board, games, tea, and coffee!”
