“The young lady on reception was very good and extremely helpful. The room was small but adequate for our needs. Breakfast was excellent and a good choice, the staff through out were pleasant and friendly. I would recommend The Wight to anyone.”

“The shower wasn’t working no pressure because it is a very old building they said so they couldn’t help or give us another room. Very dusty lots of cobwebs. However staff was so lovely beds were so comfortable and excellent location :))”

“Overlooking the sea. Our room was clean and tidy. Fresh. The bar was great. The whole place was amazing value. The most amazing thing was the staff. Harry and his mate on reception, the lady at the bar , the chap doing breakfast and the lovely young woman at reception. Couldn’t have been more helpful. They let me put my bike in storage. All great”

“Room was clean, and windows were excellently glazed to prevent any traffic noise from the streets. Very convenient with the bus stop right outside to get to the ferry as well as Newport/anywhere else on the isle. Osbourne house right across the street. food options were limited around the pub, but the floating bridge to Cowes conveniently down the road by either a 20 min walk or the bus.”

“Very well maintained and fab to stay. We had dinner there and it was fabulous. I booked a table in advance. It was full when we were there, so would recommend booking ahead. Steak and shiraz with a peppercorn sauce. Breakfast was set out on a full table to help yourself with juices, cereal, pastry, croissants, toast and there were jams a plenty to chose, along with marmite. There were muffins and bars along with fruit basket. We were greeted and asked if wale would like tea or coffee. Staff...

“A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us.”
