“This is truly a "Hidden Gem". My wife and I booked this for a long-weekend getaway not too far from our home in the SF East Bay. The website looked promising and it had been a long time since either of us had been to the Clearlake area so it was somewhat of a "shot-in-the-dark". “Checked in late , 2100 hours. Once in the room, one bed looked as though it had been slept in. It was unmade with all pillows stacked on it. Trash can was full. Towels hung over shower door. Called the answering service since the office was closed. The manager’s wife talked to me. The manager came by to “verify” that the room has not been serviced. The two of them offered an upgrade to a room with 2 kings and a view of the lake. This room was clean. I also got a later check out time by 2 hours....
