Vacations Close To Dartford Borough Museum

Don’t stay here. Just terrible. The room we were assigned was in the basement, and had the communal bins for the entire building stored at our window. This led to frequent days where rubbish was stacked up outside the bin. You couldn’t open a window due to the smell and risk of vermin entering. We had a small baby and advised them of the issue and they wanted us to pay extra to move to a room that matched the original listing. They then deflected the issue to building management (as if the bins being stored there was a new thing - it clearly wasn’t). The apartment itself was pokey, the renovation half done and key items from the listing missing altogether until we complained (such as a microwave). On top of this - the flat has the sewer pipes for the flats above in the ceiling so you hear every flush and every shower from above all night. In summary, if you value good sleep, any sort of view and the ability to have fresh air - don’t stay here. If you like the sound of running sewage from above, the smell of bins and a stale environment - this is the place for you! Terrible service all round

Breakfast was the high point. But a low point was the limited availability of of electrical outlets in the room … I could only find two … neither at the head of the bed for my Bi-Pap. We also had problems communicating our need to stay an additional night, and were locked out forcing us to speak with the manager on duty. After presenting our case (that we had be assured it was resolved) we were charged double the rate to extend us the privilege. Had we known this would happen in advance, we would have most certainly have chosen another venue.

excellent staff, clean room and everything

Great location. The staff was very nice, and the breakfast was good. Clean propriety and nice lobby bar for drinks and quick snacks.

There was a deposit to be taken upon arrival which we were not made aware of when booking. The room was so small for the amount you pay, and we stayed two nights. The tv did not even have Netflix or anything, which one would expect when paying so much and in such a modern hotel. Good thing we took our PlayStation and connected it. Clean and modern, however, definitely would not stay again even if it were much cheaper and closer to everything.

The location is perfect & the hotel was clean & up to date. I would stay here again!

A good clean efficient hotel. Not particularly posh but very adequate and a great location around Waterloo. Good value for the location.
