“Lovely place to stay out in the country”

“Quaint property with rooms in the main building and in an outer building across a patio with table seating where we had a quiet, well-equipped, modern room. The Inn is a short walk to a scenic marsh and pond with fish/eel traps and a bench for savoring the peaceful view. The town of Stockbridge, about a mile away, is wonderful for window shopping (and purchasing!) and is the start of a beautiful picturesque 'marsh walk' through grazing cows and lovely pastures. “A lovely room in a very cosy, friendly pub. There was some road noise due to the location, but this dies down after dark. The facilities and food were excellent.”

“El personal fue muy amable, ubicación excelente para visitar Highclere Castle, el verdadero Downton Abbey. Desayuno espectacular.”

“We stayed here one night as my niece was getting married and having her wedding venue just down the road in the village Hall. The room was lovely, very clean and every thing you would need, to a very high standard. We didn’t eat there so I can’t comment on that.”

“Stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely stay again! The rooms were nice and cosy, great food options, quiet location, friendly staff and only a few minutes drive from car parks to walk in the New forest. Highly recommend”

“Excelent!!!”

“The Dundas Arms is a warm welcoming hotel in an interesting setting between canal and river on the edge of a lovely village. The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed. It was our diamond wedding celebration and we were well looked after and given complimentary bubbly to celebrate. We had a most enjoyable 3 days and consider Dundas an ideal country venue and...

“Great place to stay. Spacious bedroom with a good bed and quality bedding. Radio and TV in the room plus tea and coffee making facilities plus welcome shortbread on arrival. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly. It is situated on a busy road but don’t let that put you off - see if you can get one of the quieter rooms at the back. Worth a visit and situated in a great area/countryside.”
