“The pub was lovely beams and horse brasses. We didn’t eat there as my daughter lives just down the road. The rooms out the back are comfortable clean and have everything you need it was quiet at night as I am a very light sleeper but had no trouble.”

The staff here are excellent, going the extra mile to ensure a freindly, comfortable experience. Have to say, especially the restaraunt staff...brilliant! And the breakfast served was really just great...looking forward to that again in a few weeks time!”

“I am somewhat biased, as this is where my dog and I prefer to stay on our fairly frequent visits to this lovely part of our country - I'd wholeheartedly recommend it for their hospitality, their food, the excellent breakfasts, some proper beer on tap, comfortable rooms (I've tried three of the six to date, all very comfortable, each with it's own character). I'd recommend their Wednesday wings and Sunday carvery in particular. I won't say more this time, as I suspect I'll have more to say next...
