“The staff at this property were extremely nice and friendly. The journey from Kigali however was stressful. I recommend renting a jeep or a car with high tires as the roads leading to the accommodation are bad. ”

Getting there at night can be tricky as google maps is wrong while there are few signposts showing the way. The setting is fantastic and what a tranquil and relaxing place! “My experience was slightly affected by the fact that I stayed in low season, and at a time when there was political instability along the border with DRC nearby. Hence I was the only guest for most of my time at the hotel which generated a slightly odd feeling. However, the suite I was allocated to was absolutely beautiful, incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean.
