“The staff were lovely and couldn't have been better. Our room had a bathroom across the hall which opened with a key. A little strange and not great for a 3am wee. We ate here and the food was ok.”

“I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. It wasn't such a big deal, but it was another warning sign. I was in a single room, which made a certain saying about a cat spring to mind. “Was a good place to stay, for the price it was clean & tidy, had the bar downstairs and the indian on site. Great location and the staff where great.”

“We stayed for one night. Although very hot weather the room had plenty of windows and an excellent fan to help keep us cool. Staff very friendly. Plenty of parking. We would definitely stay again if in the area.”
