“Location of property worked well for purpose. Staff were good. Rooms very warm, unlike the shower, stayed 3 nights, only on one occasion was the water hot, guessing the staff knew of this, when we mentioned at check out. Greene King pub next door, ok for a pint and pub food. Would recommend "Ye Olde Hob Inn" for a drink, great atmosphere and even better hosts.”

“Hotel receptionist didn’t offer any information about the hotel - it had to be asked and although she was polite it wasn’t a warm welcome The hotel room was great but looking a little dated, plus some of the bedroom furniture needs refreshing. The same for the TVs which were particularly small for the size of room. However excellent carpets, bed, towels and view plus exceptionally reasonable price. The restaurant was excellent with good service, hot food and a warm welcome.”
