“The hotel is nice for a short stay however could do with a few upgrades but generally well maintained. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome and throughout the stay our 2 dogs were made to feel relaxed and happy. The shower in the room was so small you struggled to move about and the shower gel provided even though smelt lovely was obviously watered down. “Lovely helpful staff, comfortable, clean room (superior room) and the continental / cooked breakfast was good. I stayed overnight on a Friday arriving at 7pm and the available parking in the hotel carpark and local area was extremely limited so I would recommend arriving early. Do not rely on being able to connect to the hotel free WiFi. I could not connect at all and was told by a staff member that it was most likely due to the bar / restaurant areas being busy. “Beautiful location, lovely village and park across the road. Very safe for children to walk around the village. Though mine just stayed in the park. The staff at this hotel are very well mannered, attentive and successful in what they do regardless of obvious pressures. A bit disappointed there wasn't any danishes available before breakfast had finished at the early time of 930am. Plenty of cereals, toast and jams with plenty of coffee that you can takeaway”
