It was very good value and in a very beautiful area. The maintenance of the building was outstanding. No lift and, at 80, I found that a bit of a struggle. But will return - and breakfast was good value.

Excellent large clean immaculate room with plenty of tea coffee biscuits etc on clean tray. Clean kettle and cups. Excellent large immaculate bathroom with towels and hand and shower liquid soaps. Bed and bedding clean and comfortable.we had a large dog who was welcomed in all public areas which enabled us to have a great holiday. Large selection of choices at breakfast and at the bar.***** .

Ideal central location in the middle of Bala High Street. Not enough parking on site. Small car park (at the rear) already full of people drinking at the pub, so had to park on street instead. Not enough staff available so had to wait a little to check in. Room was decent. Plenty of space with a nice modern bathroom suite and shower. Relatively quiet on the third floor, but quite a journey up three levels on an old staircase. Coffee/tea maker limited to a kettle and a handful of packs of instant coffee and tea bags. Only 4 small pots of UHT milk though. Breakfast is an additional charge of £10 per person.

Limited parking at hotel, you’d have to get there early for a space. Checking was easy, not accessible hotel not lifts and a lot of stairs. Location good on high street with lots of shops about. Cleanliness of room was good, paid for deluxe room the advertised ‘king bed’ was two singles pushed together and was very hard, really bad sleep. Told as we arrived that they had no hot water, they told us we could go elsewhere if we wanted but it was a bank holiday weekend and no availability elsewhere no attempt of refund etc. the food at the hotel was poor also. Hotel is rather dated with fixtures, door locked and struggled to reopen the windows were letting in cold air when closed and an awful banging noise because of the wind hitting them
