“Beautiful view on the bay, the access to pool (but fixed with duct tape) was nice, and the receptionist was kind, but it was way too expensive for the quality of the room, which was fixed in the 90's. The filter from air conditioner was dusty and disgusting. The patio door mosquito net was ripped in several places. The pillows were itchy. The motel needs some renovations and an upgrade.”

“The host Matthew was very helpful. As we came in late we were directed by Matthew after we were lost due to improper directions on map. He showed us to our cabin. Very comfortable cabin with everything we need. Many construction crews were upgrading but they were very quiet in the morning. The breakfast was outstanding with eggs bacon etc. May have included some grain cereal but other than that it was very good. We will certainly recommend to friends.”

“Moldy shower curtain, no sheets for pull out couch, no bath tub plug, cracked bathroom sink with no plug. Tried to go for a swim on arrival and pool was closed because chemicals were added that morning…check in is at 2pm. No screen on window, requested non smoking room but didn’t get that. Smoke detector seemed to be out of service too. Lots of staff or people living at motel hanging around. They run the Top Notch motel and restaurant too so be warned. Fella on bicycle worked hard to please...

“The hotel link said there was a playground for kids. This playground is at a park down the road, and not at the motel. There were only 2 pillows on each bed and there were 4 of us. The sink vanity was incredibly short. The bed was comfortable enough, and my kids enjoyed the experience. All in all, it was ok”

“Not clean. There are a lot of. Dead mosquitoes on the wall. There is no hair dryer in the room.”

“Room was well maintained & clean. We didn’t saw anyone from staff, but got a chance to be greeted by the owner during check-inn & it was really great to know about the places to wonder in tobermory, so that you just need to go ahead for it. The property has the best lake view from patio & private beach section, where you could have a memorable time with your loved ones.”
