“Clean room but very dated Bed extremely uncomfortable Didn't sleep a wink due to bed and street lights outside of the bedroom Breakfast looked good but didnt eat it due to flies in the restaurant”

“The hotel was out in the countryside with excellent views over the moors. It was very clean and well cared for. Car parking was good. The room size, bed size, etc was great. One small problem - the room lighting was not very bright during the night time. The food was excellent and the staff were great. It was also a great place for walkers with great access to the countryside. I would recommend it.”

“This was a very old historical building in as good of a shape as it could be. Some uneven floors and a lot of steps to get to your room. It was small and quiet charming. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A bus stop was right out the side. Very pleasant. The bed was nice, no air conditioning, but it was fairly cool when we went in August, 2026. They had a fan. We are from Florida so the low 70's was a joy for us for August.”

“Stayed in family room which was very spacious and had a large en suite. Everything was spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet despite being a pub. Good choice for breakfast which was delicious. Having real milk and bottled water in the rooms was a nice touch. In a village with nice walks and lovely seating area outside.”
