“The staff were so helpful and really looked after us. Even quickly giving me a seperate room to my friend very late at night, when she was really ill and needed space. The location is also stunning. I would recommend Chonor House. Thanks.”

“I was physically attacked by the manager of this hotel. He became very aggressive when I offered to pay with an international card but he only accepts cash or UPI. When I wanted to get cash for him, he refrained me from taking by bags in the car. When I tried to leave, he grabbed me at the throat and scratched my arm. When I left one bag behind to get cash, he locked up the driver and took his keys and phone. Sunny, the manager, is a dangerous man and I warn you to stay away from the hotel....

“We had a fabulous stay at La Riqueza. The hotel is clean and extremely well run - no request was too much for the brilliant staff. It is also very well located between Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj, with great views across the valley in which Dharamshala sits. Highly recommended !”

“Turned up in Dharamshala, get to hotel, has not existed for 2 years. Clearly been sold and rebranded. Yet somehow Hotels.com managed to book us a room. Absolutely unbelievable. $25 Onecash credit compensation for 3 rooms, 3 adults had to rebook somewhere else at walk up rates and this is what Hotels.com thought was appropriate compensation. Comical incompetence. ”

“Everything thing about stay was good and staff was very polite”

“Beautiful mountain views, great service, close to Dalai Lama Temple, Tsuglagkhang Complex”

A little shop next door had decent supplies The price was reflected in bedding/towels that were absolutely fine but could do with a refresh. No midstay room clean so you sort yourself out. Main criticism is hotel pulls its shutters down at 10/10:15, sometime earlier, leaving guests stranded outside banging or...
