“Really friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Good atmosphere. Large old building, our room was recently updated and was modernised nicely and spotlessly clean. It was very big but still warm with very large comfy bed and powerful shower. TV & Kettle in the room with normal sachets of tea/coffee etc Good breakfast offering kept warm and you could ask for GF bread, cereal and freshly made scrambled eggs. Nice coffee too. “Hotel was under renovation and their was a fault on the fire alarm panel both mornings which didn't make the stay feel all that safe with the major renovations going on. Their was no curtains over the window you could clearly see where the pole was taken out the extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom so the window was constantly open and didn't look like it could close. After the stay I recieved another bill from the hotel which km disputing through hotels.com as I had paid for the room...
