“The property is very nice, you can walk right down to the lake. They also have tent set up if you want to sit next to the pond. They have a fire pit and grill you can use. They stock in the cottage a lot of different drinks and breakfast things. It was a great experience and the owners are extremely friendly and answer you right away if you need anything.”

“It was a terrific location and had lots of character. The rooms were cute, clean, and everything worked great — especially the air conditioning. Parking was convenient and free and breakfast was delish! I would definitely stay again.”

“Gardenview B&B is located on a quiet street within 5 minutes of Newport's mansions and less than 10 minutes from Castle Hill Inn. But the best feature of Gardenview is its owner/proprietor, Mary Fitzgerald. Mary could not be more welcoming, going the extra mile to make her guests' visits as enjoyable as possible. “I guess we got what we paid for considering Bellevue House (and affiliated inns) is in downtown Newport and doesn't cost $600/night. Didn't really expect anything great, and it wasn't. It definitely would have been nice if breakfast was earlier than 8:00.”

“We had an excellent stay at the B&B. The staff was lovely and very helpful and attentive. It was peaceful and quiet. Easy to get over to Newport by the Ferry, with able to leave my car parked with the on street parking provided.”
