Vacations Close To Kangbu Hot Spring

We had a very nice room. The antique decor was beautiful. The brunch buffet was very nice and very reasonably priced.

Just what I expected from a hotel with the Trump name. Great hotel, great President!

Nice off the strip location but still central. We enjoyed the larger rooms with a separate kitchen/living area and large bathroom. The hotel could use some updating, but the staff was lovely and we enjoyed the 24 hour store which provided come quick late night eat options. Would recommend if you are looking for a larger space that is not in the middle of the strip, but still very accessible to everything,

Firstly, avoid their un-renovated standard rooms (known as the Deluxe rooms)... they are painfully out dated and frankly depressing. You'll want one of their renovated Luxe rooms. We spent our first night in their Deluxe room in the North Tower, 8th floor - The room was super out dated, dimly lit, very small TV with blown speakers, the bathroom vanity also dimly lit, no coffee maker, no closet, and the first 10 floors or so of the North Tower have a crummy view looking at the wall of a huge parking structure. It wasn't until I just happened to watch a YouTube video review of the Plaza that I realized they had better rooms. We upgraded our room to a Luxe room for our 2nd night, which was in the South Tower, 22nd floor, with a much better view towards the heart of Las Vegas - So glad we did! I really hope the Plaza renovates all of their rooms and hallways, it will look soooo much better!

We booked a family trip to go to the Grand Canyon (west) but didn’t want to stay on the strip. We rented a car, the parking garage was excellent. It’s a newer hotel and very clean and in the perfect location. Near the highways, a 15 min walk to Fremont. Safe. Lots of construction in the area but we never noticed any issues. Breakfast gets busy so go early, not enough tables so you may have to eat in the lounge part. Check your bill when you leave, we got charged for $89 for exponentials even though we didn’t have any. They couldn’t tell us why either. Got my money back by calling my credit card. Didn’t use the pool but it was small area well maintained. Didn’t see anyone in it. Go to Vic’s supper club next door. Wouldn’t recommend for children though. Would I stay again? Yes. Especially brining my family with my older parents. Not a party hotel. Quiet and nice.
